PREDICT Services participates in the 14th information forum on major risks

On February 9 and 10, 2022, PREDICT Services will be participating in the 14th major risk information forum (IRISES), at the departmental hotel in Montpellier. This year’s theme is innovation in the face of climate change.

For the past 12 years, the Information Forum on Major Risks (IRISES) has been a key event for local government officials concerned with the issues of communication and public awareness of major risks.

In this spirit, the “IRIS” trophies are awarded each year to exemplary projects carried out by local authorities and their partners in the face of risks.

This year’s theme is “Natural hazards: innovation in the face of climate change” and the awards will focus on the following three themes:

• Innovation in the face of increasing natural disasters
• Modernization of the risk culture, information and awareness of the population
• Development and resilience of territories

The exchanges of this 14th edition will notably allow to take stock of:

• The latest regulations and obligations of local authorities,
• The measures to guarantee the safety and information of inhabitants in the face of natural and technological risks,
• The training of elected officials, territorial executives and industrialists in crisis management, permanent on-call duty for the management of events (natural, meteorological, industrial…) prevention tools, etc.
